Monastery of “Mega Spilaio”, Kalavryta: This very historic monastery is literally built in the rocks. It houses a very very old icon (4th century AD) made of mastic and wax. You can visit it on the way to the also historic mountain town of Kalavryta, site of one of the most infamous massacres of the German occupation.
